Chief Executive Officer
James founded BuildCraft Construction in 2003 after 12 years as a structural engineer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. His vision for a client-first construction firm has guided BuildCraft from an 8-person startup to a 340-person organization operating across 12 states. He holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from MIT and is a licensed Professional Engineer in six states.

Diana joined BuildCraft in 2008 and has been instrumental in scaling the company's operational infrastructure through three phases of growth. Prior to BuildCraft, she held senior project delivery roles at Turner Construction and Bechtel. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Construction Management from Cornell University.

Lead Architect
Rafael leads BuildCraft's in-house architecture studio, directing design on all commercial and residential projects with a floor area over 50,000 sqft. He trained at Columbia GSAPP and spent eight years at Gensler before bringing his expertise to BuildCraft. His work on the Manhattan Financial Tower earned a 2023 AIA New York Award for Excellence in Design.

Senior Project Manager
Sarah manages BuildCraft's most complex multi-phase commercial projects and has successfully delivered over $1.2B in construction value during her 14-year career. Her methodical approach to schedule management and risk mitigation has earned her a reputation as the go-to PM for high-stakes, time-critical deliveries. She is a certified PMP and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from NYU Tandon.

Thomas leads BuildCraft's civil infrastructure division and has been the engineer of record on more than 60 major infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities across the Northeast. He holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and serves on the board of the American Society of Civil Engineers New York chapter.

Interior Designer
Elena heads the BuildCraft Interior Design studio, bringing an award-winning aesthetic sensibility to residential and commercial fit-out projects. Her work spans everything from bespoke private residences to corporate headquarter interiors for Fortune 500 clients. She trained at Parsons School of Design and is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
